Mauricio Wesson is a civil engineer specialized in ocean, coastal and site engineering. He has over 15 years of prefessional registered experience. Mauricio is registered as a professional engineer in Wisconsin, USA and Costa Rica. His experience includes Coastal Studies, Numerical and Physical Modeling, Detail Design of Ports, Marinas, Breakwaters and complex coastal structures. He has been the Construction Supervision Director of Large Mega Projects, like The Marina Ayia Napa.
He has over 6 publications in several conferences, and invented a Wave Energy Absorbing block wall which has been implemented and constructed. Mauricio obtained his civil engineering degree in the University of Costa Rica, studied Planning and Design of Coastal Structures in Hyogo, Japan, obtained a Master in Sciences from Delft Technical University, The Netherlands, and carried out Doctoral Studies in Braunschweig, Germany. Alfredo is a Civil Engineer with over 38 years of professional experience. He is specialized in Port Engineering, Transportation, Coastal Engineering and Construction. He worked as the Ports and Rivers Director for the Ministry of Public Works for over 15 years and was Professor at the Civil Engineering School of the University of Costa Rica.
Alfredo has a Master in Sciences from MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and studied Port Engineering in Japan and Belgium. He has been the director of several large projects, including the Los Sueños Marina and Land Development, the Papagayo Marina, the Moin Terminal and the Puntarenas Cruise Ship Pier. His experience includes project feasibility, site studies, design and construction direction.
